Gorka Izagirre, txakoli from Bizkaia
Wine tourism experience

AIR
July 2024
Txakoli tastings with food and wine pairing or a walk through the vineyard are some of the proposals of a winery located on a hill surrounded by vineyards very close to Bilbao, in Larrabetzu.
Gorka Izagirre is just a few metres from the gastronomic restaurants Azurmendi —three Michelin stars— and Eneko —one Michelin star.
A visit to the winery is a great way to enjoy a wine tourism experience that combines flavour with tradition.
The ‘Hamaiketako’ experience, for example, refers to the snack taken in the farmhouses of the Basque Country before lunch.
The classic gilda, ham and exquisite Idiazabal cheese accompany a tasting of four wines that are as different as they are complementary: Gorka Izagirre, G22, 42 Zura and Ilun.
