Enjoyment on rails

A whole new way of travelling. A unique way, away from the roads and the rush, to experience the movement through a landscape that provides new points of view. These are luxury trains. The small Orient Express trains that run on the little-frequented tracks in the north of the peninsula. Two of them leave from Bilbao. And a further one passes through the capital of Biscay.

The COSTA VERDE EXPRESS is a new luxury tourist service, which Renfe will launch in the 2022 season. It offers 6 days and 5 nights in northern Spain, between Bilbao and Santiago de Compostela.The trip includes accommodation in Grand Class Suites, breakfasts, lunches and dinners on board or in selected restaurants, guided tours, entrance fees to monuments and shows, activities, multilingual guide during the whole tour, etc.and buses for transportation.

Another possibility is the EXPRESO DE LA ROBLA, arriving in León, which dates back to the late 19th century, when it was built to transport coal production from the mining areas to Bizkaia.

The TRANSCANTÁBRICOdeparts from San Sebastián, stops in Bilbao and finally arrives in Santiago de Compostela.

Until November, all trains have between one and three departure dates in each destination.
