Businessman Inaz Fernández is opening a new venue on the central Astarloa Street. The venue offers a selection of premium oysters, caviar and an outstanding range of Champagne and white wines
Bilbao has added a key highlight to its gastronomic map with the opening of El Puertito’s second venue. The city in Biscay now boasts a new place to savour the flavours of the sea, under the direct management of entrepreneur Inaz Fernández.
The owner revolutionised oyster consumption in Spain with his first bar on Calle García Rivero. He then took his successful concept to the Chamberí neighbourhood in Madrid. And he has just broadened his horizons in Astarloa, a historic area of Bilbao.
The venue pays tribute to maritime tradition with a touch of sophistication. It offers a seafood-focused menu, featuring the finest oysters from Spain and Europe, served individually.
The big news is the addition of caviar to the menu. The offering is rounded off with a carefully selected range of Champagne and white wines.
Oysters served individually and caviar are paired with a first-rate list of wines and bubbles
The sophisticated atmosphere preserves its founder’s down-to-earth and approachable philosophy whilst elevating the aperitif experience right in the heart of the city. An unmissable experience in Bilbao.
