Gerardo Men’s Fashion Bilbao
Besides regular shopping centres, Bilbao has several semi-pedestrianised streets, very pleasant for leisurely strolls, such as Gran Vía, Ercilla and its crossings. The wide pavements are lined with shops of world-famous brands or multi-brand boutiques with solid roots in the city, such as Gerardo, at the intersection of the unmissabe Ercilla and Licenciado Poza musstreets. Also, Veritason Rodríguez Arias and N32 on Doctor Achúcarro street.
The Old Town (Casco Viejo), totally pedestrianised and soaked in localness, is a strong commercial arm. Matia jewllery is a good example.
In that very spot, Carnicería Vieja is the street for those in search of the alternative: the vegan cofeehouse Bohemian Lane, the Magnolia Rare Books bookstore, a centenary pharmacy specialized in medicinal plants such as Uriarte Arrazuza, the avant-garde hairdresser Haptica, the Bilbao clothing store Lotune or the also local Polita, specialized in sizes 38 and up, among other places of interest.
Just go for a walk. You will enjoy it. And it is not unlikely to come across the international supermodel Jon Kortajarena; or Ángel Amor, designer of headdresses for characters portrayed by Angelina Jolie, Cate Blanchett and other Hollywood stars.
