From October to February 2023, Bizkaia’s frontons host thrilling cesta punta matches, an international Basque sport. Don’t miss the Jai Alai League finals in Durango on October 9th and 16th, or the Gernika Winter Series until February, featuring Iñaki Osa Goikoetxea’s farewell performance.

Between October and February, the fronton courts of Bizkaia host spectacular matches of the most international Basque sport: cesta punta.

Speed, power, jumps, technique and terraces with an incomparable atmosphere await those who wish to enjoy the matches.

On the 9th and 16th October, the Ezkurdi in Durango will host the final phase of the international Jai Alai League tournament.

The Gernika Winter Series kicks off on 23 October at the Jai Alai in the town of the same name.

Matches will be held on 30 October; 6, 13, 20 and 27 November; 4-11-18 and 31 December; 8-15-22 and 29 January; and 5, 12 and 18 February.

This tournament offers the opportunity to enjoy the best players of the moment, including the great Iñaki Osa Goikoetxea, the greatest of the last decades, who will play for the last time before hanging up his cesta.
