Zinegoak 2023

The Bilbao International LGBITQA+ Film and Performing Arts Festival has grown and consolidated since it was born at the beginning of the millennium. It has been undergoing changes and has grown stronger.

It has expanded to the rest of Bizkaia and the Basque Country. It has become stronger and internationalised.

It is already one of those events that the city looks forward to.

At the time of writing, the programme, films and performan- ces selected for Zinegoak2023 are not yet known.

We are assured that there will be great novelties and major surprises.

In any case, we do know of one change: the dates have been changed from the end of winter to the end of spring, with the opening gala on 26 June and the closing gala on 1 July.

In other words, it will match the celebrations and festivities of 28J.

Zinegoak will be held at the Arriaga, Bilborock, BilbaoAr- te and the Alhondiga, will feature international persona- lities and will vindicate sexual and gender diversity through films, stage creations, talks, etc.
