Musicals and theatre in Aste Nagusia Bilbao 2025

From15 august, the Arriaga Theatre, the Campos Theatre, the Euskalduna and the Sala BBK offer a packed theatre programme that should not take the focus away from the happenings taking place in the txosnas area.

Teatro Arriaga

The Arriaga Theatre is presenting Mamma Mia!, the hit musical featuring the timeless hits of Swedish band ABBA. This production will offer something different to those performed in Bilbao on other occasions.

Euskalduna

The Euskalduna programme features seven events showcasing cultural diversity, with something for all audiences.

1. Firstly, there is ‘The Pillars of the Earth, the Musical’, a spectacular adaptation of Ken Follett’s bestseller.
2. Another in-house production is ‘Mastodophonika’, a powerful musical show by Asier Etxeandia’s group, Mastodonte.
3. Other events include the musical show Pecados – El cabaret de la carne;
4. The comedy of intrigue ‘Pijama para seis’.
5. The local comedy ‘La llamaban loca’.
6. The monologue by Ugaitz Alegria.
7. The monologue by Ainhoa Etxebarria.

Teatro Campos Eliseos

Without a doubt, however, the Campos Eliseos Theatre is home to stand-up comedy and monologues starring some of today’s biggest names. Whatever day you go, you will enjoy either a comedy show or a stand-up performance.

SALA BBK

La Sala BBK, en plena Gran Vía, estrenará el 17 de agosto,‘CONFETI. El regreso’, una producción propia que se define como “una comedia musical con alguna canción”.
