Café Iruña

Everyone in Bilbao knows Café Iruña.

Inaugurated in 1903, it is surprising that it has preserved all the flavour of its original modernist decoration.

You will be surprised by the quality of the tiles and the unique Mudejar-inspired decoration, with polychrome ceilings and a rich collection of recently restored murals.

It is also a place with atmosphere at any time of the day, from breakfast to a good drink in the evening.

It offers six different menus every day in its dining rooms, which are well looked after gastronomically and range from 22 to 57 euros, including wine or txakoli.

The variety of pintxos is also an option. For dinner, a menu with traditional recipes and top quality Iberian cured meats.
